Let pipe A remains open for X hours
So, X/10 + 6/12= 1
X=5 hours
Hence, Pipe A was closed at 3 p.m

(Vijay +Sumit + Ranjit)’s 1days’s work = 1/2(1/40 + 1/48 + 1/60) = 1/32
Required time = 32 days

Let CP of article =Rs 100
Its marked price =Rs 150
After allowing a discount of 20 % SP of article = Rs (150*80)/100=Rs 120
So, profit per cent =20

Marked price of article = Rs X
According to question
