A college consist of 2500 students. The ratio of boys to girls is 3:2 respectively. All of the students are involved in five different games viz. Cricket, Boxing, Tennis, Football and volleyball. 28 % of girls are in Cricket. 16 % of the boys are in Tennis. One fifth of the boys are in Volleyball. The ratio of girls to boys in Tennis is 2 :3 respectively. 25 % of the total number of students are in boxing. Girls in Volleyball are 60 % of the boys are in the same game. 22 % of the girls are in Football. The remaining girls are in Boxing. 18 % of the boys are in Cricket and the remaining in Football.

In a company there are 1700 employees. The company has five departments -HR, Marketing, Engineering, IT and Administration. Out of the total number of male employees in the organization, 32 % work in the Engineering department, 25 % work in Marketing department, 17 % work in the HR department, 8 % work in the IT department. & the remaining 162 male employees work in the Administration department.
Out of the total number of female employees in the organization 12 % work in the Marketing, 28 % work in the HR and 17 % work in the IT department. The Engineering department. has 1/8 of the total number of male employees in the same department. The remaining employees work in the Administration department.
6)The total number of male employees working in the Marketing and Administration department. Together is what per cent of the total number of employees working in these two department.

Total number of boys = (2500 * 3)/ (3+2) = 1500
Total number of girls= (2500 *2)/ (3+2) = 1000
In Cricket, Total Girls & Boys are respectively 280,270
In Boxing, Total Girls & Boys are respectively 160 ,465
Total Girls & Boys in Tennis, are respectively 160, 400
In Football, Total Girls & Boys are respectively 220, 225
In volleyball, Total Girls & Boys are respectively 180, 300
1A) So, Required % = (270 *100)/280= 96.43 %
2.B) So, Number of girls in Boxing = 1000-(280 + 160+220+180) =160
3.D) Required percentage = (465 *100)/2500= 18.6 %
4.B) So, Required number of girls = 160 + 180= 340
5.D) So, Required number of Boys in Football
= 1500-(270 + 465 + 240 + 300)
=225

100-(25 +32+17+18) = 18 %
∴18 % = 162
100 % = (162 *100)/18= 900
